Designing and developing websites for cross-browser compatibility gets harder and harder. But there are lots of handy resources out there that can help make the process a little less painful.
First Apple, now Google. Google officially announce that IE 6 will not be supported by gmail and other apps moving forward; which means, that certain new features will not work in this cursed browser. Now, usually, I am totally all about graceful degradation and fault tolerance. But not in this case. Only give credit where credit is due and IE 6 is such a terrible browser that I say, ditch it and spread the word.
Thank you Google! Never thought I would hear myself say that.
Course, they do have a bit of a vested interest in dissing Internet Explorer. But hey…we all do!
