The original Twestival was held in September of 2008 in London, but since it has exploded to become an truly international event. <!--more-->It is estimated that today between 10,000 and 20,000 global users of Twitter will take part in this global charity party night designed to raise money for the charity &#8216;Water&#8217; (<a class=\"external free\" title=\"http:\/\/www.charitywater.org\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.charitywater.org\/\">http:\/\/www.charitywater.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Events are being organised all over, often with drinks company sponsorship and the idea is simple to tweet, meet and give.<\/p>\n<p>Further to my presentation in December, this is an excellent use of the social media star of the moment, Twitter, for eCampaigning.
