Mobile user experience manifesto

Credit where credit is due. And in this case, I must give full respect and credit to Kyle (the) Outlaw for publishing a mobile user experience manifesto.

This presentation, available on SlideShare, is a must read for anyone interested in or working on mobile user experience development. Set out over five key principles, it covers:

    * the rise of the mobile web
    * the importance of knowing your audience
    * targeting the right platform for your app
    * mobile sites versus mobile applications
    * the best interaction planning and development practices

All in all, it concludes that currently, the iPhone is still perhaps the most important mobile device but not without it’s limitations and close competitors. This is a great overview introduction to the both the potential of the mobile web along and the technology landscape.
