Best of April Fool’s Day 2012

Each year, April Fool’s  Day gives us all something to smile about. The internet was made for this – allowing pranks, jokes and funny myths to spread like wild fire. In case you missed them, here’s a round up of favourites for 2012.

2. Shaun Ryder to advise on Government on class

Second prize to, The Guardian. Bloody hilarious and could only have been topped by Ed Milliband asking George Clooney to advise him on how to be attractive, interesting and have real moral and political values.

In a move that will astonish both critics and supporters, David Cameron has appointed the controversial Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder as a special adviser on social class, following a series of political missteps since the budget.

The decision is believed to have been taken after urgent discussions between the so-called Quad group of ministers, comprising Cameron, George Osborne, Nick Clegg and Danny Alexander, the chief secretary to the treasury.

Tom Tom introduces the Darth Vader voice onto its famous navigation system. Research proves that Darth’s voice is guaranteed to calm passengers and prevent babies/ kids screaming in the car.

4. Google Racing

Google is on fire today! Concept: autonomous race cars – self driving racing cars. Drivers can now take a break and spend more time with their families.
