Successful service design
A brilliant site by The Cabinet Office that provides a comprehensive guidance on service design.
The site provides a framework designed to help project teams approach a variety of delivery projects and challenges relating to transforming public services. There’s a visual road map to ‘successful service design’ and a useful resource library includes process templates and guidance covering:
- Discovering customer needs
- Success measurement
- Innovation
- Customer experience
- Objective prioritisation
- Risk Assessment
Although informative, it’s a shame about the actual user experience. The ui design is practically non-existent and is unintuitive frankly. The site is unneccessarily built in flash and the content lacks good standards of accessibility to both people and search engines. Perhaps it’s work in progress?
